Dear BMC Cutie Pies,
I've been wanting to create a blog spot for us for some time. We need a place to share our stories and memories of Blue Mountain College and our years there. I think a good place to start would be a question.
How did you first hear about Blue Mountain College? Describe your first trip to BMC.
I heard about BMC from one of my mother's best friends. Her name was Dorothy Jean Bright. She attended BMC but I'm not sure when or if she graduated from there. I have tried to contact her but to no avail.
She mentioned BMC to me when I started high school and I guess it just kind of stuck in my mind. Somehow, and I really don't even remember how (maybe I'll ask my mom) I even got to BMC one weekend while I was in high school. It must have been a May Day celebration (remember when it was called "May Day"?) because there was a play that weekend. Joy HURT Hill was the star and the play was "My Fair Lady". She did a great job and really made an impression on me that weekend. I stayed in Whitfield dorm (I think). I absolutely fell in love with BMC that weekend and never had any doubt after that about going there. In fact, I never even applied anywhere else!
